About CamoSwap
CamoSwap is a mini app that runs inside World App. It lets verified humans swap tokens on World Chain directly from their World App wallet. Quotes are routed through Uniswap liquidity to find the best available price, swaps settle on-chain, and you can review your balances and past swaps reconstructed from public blockchain data.
CamoSwap is non-custodial. Your wallet and private keys are managed by World App, not by CamoSwap. We never hold, control, or have access to your funds or keys, and we are not a counterparty to your swaps.
Privacy at a glance
- CamoSwap does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email, or postal address to swap.
- CamoSwap never receives your private keys, seed phrase, or World App login credentials.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- Blockchain transactions are public and permanent by design, and are outside our control once submitted.
Information we do not collect
Because CamoSwap is non-custodial and runs inside World App, we do not collect or have access to:
- Your private keys, seed phrase, or wallet recovery information — these stay within World App and on your device.
- Your World App login credentials or the biometric data used by World ID.
- Custody of your tokens or funds at any time.
Information we process
To provide the swap experience, CamoSwap processes a limited amount of information:
- Wallet address and on-chain activity — We read the public wallet address connected through World App to display balances and quotes and to submit the swaps you approve. Your transactions, balances, and swap history are recorded on the public World Chain ledger.
- World App and World ID signals — CamoSwap runs as a World App mini app and relies on World App to confirm that you are a verified, unique human and to provide your wallet connection. We process the result of that verification to grant access; we do not receive your biometric data.
- Free-swap and fee tracking — To apply the first-five-swaps-free benefit and the flat 1% fee afterwards, we associate a swap count with your wallet address.
- Quote and routing data — The token pair and amounts you enter are sent to pricing, routing, and blockchain infrastructure providers (such as Uniswap and RPC or quote services) to calculate the best available rate and to broadcast transactions.
- Technical and usage data — Like most software, CamoSwap may process technical information such as device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, feature usage, and error logs, for security, troubleshooting, and product improvement.
- Support communications — If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to share with us, such as your message and any details you provide.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the swap interface and show your balances, quotes, and history.
- Route quotes through Uniswap and broadcast the swaps you approve to World Chain.
- Apply the correct fees, including the first-five-swaps-free benefit and the flat 1% fee thereafter.
- Confirm eligibility through World App and World ID.
- Monitor, secure, debug, and improve the app, and prevent fraud, abuse, and illegal activity.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
Data retention
We keep operational and technical information only for as long as needed to provide the service, secure it, and meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Information written to the blockchain is permanent and cannot be changed or removed by us.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we process. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your device and your World App account secure, as anyone with access to them may be able to authorize swaps.
International data transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information, or to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. Please note that we cannot alter or delete information that has already been recorded on the public blockchain, and that some data is required to operate the service or to meet legal obligations.
Children
CamoSwap is not intended for anyone under the age of 18, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction. Access also depends on World App and World ID eligibility requirements. We do not knowingly process information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of CamoSwap after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
